About me

I am Aaron Viviano, a practicing Christian, who lives in Texas, and owns what reasonable people may say is too many books. My first attempts at programming were in some forgotten form of Basic. However, it was with C++ that I truely started to learn how to program. In university I was taught the fundamentals of Software Engineering, and took courses on subjects such as Artificial Intelligence, 3D Rendering, Operating Systems, and Game Development.

After university I spent time creating applications for Warehouse Inventory Management Systems and Finishing Printers. However, it was after I founded a company to develop Mobile Games that programming became more than a job for me, but a passion. During that time I dived into the world of C#, which has been my main programming language since. In recent years I've worked in a variety of highly technical domains. From Computer Vision (specifically Machine Vision), to Anesthesia Machines, Radionuclide Generators, and Aerospace (working on the world's first commercial Space Station).

Beyond my technical endeavors I am a space and sci-fi enthusiast, the kind that spends nights and weekends watching rocket launches. I am an advocate for Moon and Mars Colonization and am supportive of scientific endeavors to explore the universe. I also recreationally paint and draw, read novels, work on programming side projects, and construct literary imaginary worlds.
